I think this fabric could be interesting in a performance or other arena where the garment has a particular scent. It says that it withstands more than 35 washes.

Pretty amazing high-tech “suit” developed for people with disabilities. Notice that the suit is named Hal (think psychotic computer from 2001) and the company producing it is named Cyberdyne (think of the original Terminator and the company responsible for the end of the world).

Nice little description and beautiful image of integration of LED lights and knits. The article also illuminates the problem of integrating technology and how it can’t be made on a commercial level yet.
Later, the article describes some other projects that integrate solar power to charge cell phones, etc.
